At Edinburgh Coaching Academy, (ECA) they are strongly passionate about Continuing Professional Development and supporting coaches in realising their potential as Coaches through sharing, learning and reflection. They truly believe that coach development is a continual journey of self-discovery and what better way to do that than collective learning that is practical, dynamic, fun and with lots of pause for thought!

The ECA will host their 2nd CPD Day which is themed ‘Renew’ and which will be held on Wednesday 15th March 2017 at Edinburgh Napier University, Craiglockhart Campus, 219 Colinton Road, Edinburgh, EH14 1DJ

The Speaker themes include Mindfulness (Veronica Shealsby, a qualified psychologist, mindfulness trainer and practitioner based in the south of England) and Coaching supervision (Alison Hodge – a pre-eminent coaching supervisor who is coming up from London to speak about the growing need for quality coach supervision). The keynote speech will be provided by David Plews from the Church of Scotland who will speak about the work the Edinburgh Coaching Academy have been doing with the Church on ‘Quality Conversations’ to help ministers develop the right skills to have meaningful development discussions, and how they ensure they are in the right frame of mind to help fellow ministers.

The CPD day promises to be an inspiring and thoughtful day, which will highlight the need for coaches to continue to develop, refresh their skills and ensure they are in the ‘right place’.  For more information, click the CPD Day link below:
