The winners of this years’ hugely anticipated Hr NETWORK National Awards 2018 were announced at the annual glittering Gala Dinner held at the Hilton Glasgow on Thursday evening.

The event, the largest of its kind for HR professionals anywhere Scotland, which also attracts around 800 guests each year and held in November to recognise, acknowledge and reward the champions of the Scottish HR profession showcased winners including: CYBG plc (Organisational Development Award), Tennent’s (Attraction & Resourcing and HR Business Partner Award) and Arnold Clark Group’s Carol Henry being awarded the HR Director of the Year.

The dinner, which included a love theme complete with ‘petal burst’ table centres and a heart-covered programme was hosted for the 12th consecutive year by Scottish presenter and broadcaster Stephen Jardine.

The coveted Outstanding Contribution to Scottish HR award was presented to Strathclyde Business School (SBS) for services to the HR profession. SBS is celebrating the 70th anniversary of their first Diploma in Personnel Management and the judges recognised the contribution SBS has made not only locally and regionally to the HR profession but also the impact it has made on HR internationally too.
