The finalists for this  years Hr NETWORK National Awards 2016 have been announced today with the winners being revealed at next week’s hugely anticipated Annual Gala Dinner taking place at the Glasgow Hilton on Thursday 10th November.

Shortlisted finalists in 17 awards categories include: Barclays, Richard Irvin Energy Solutions, Scottish Water, Scottish Rugby and Skyscanner. This year sees the introduction of a brand new award category for HR Specialist of the Year which was introduced by the Judges to specifically recognise the unique knowledge and expertise of strategic HR individuals that work within an HR specialism. Evidence of initiatives that have changed business performance and a clear example of creativity in design, delivery and evaluation of interventions leading to additional return on investment as well as the value to the department or organisation have been sought by the Judges in this new category.

The Awards, which are regarded as ‘The’ HR and people development and management awards in Scotland are promising a double celebration as this years Hr NETWORK National Awards Gala Dinner is the 10th dinner in the history of the Awards which will return to the hugely impressive ‘Hilton’ in Glasgow for the 9th consecutive year.

After the initial online nominations, all the shortlisted finalists took part in interviews during September followed by the Nominees Lunch in association with Law At Work which took place at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh in October.

The 10th Hr NETWORK National Awards Gala Dinner which is now SOLD OUT will attract almost 800 HR and people professionals from across Scotland and the wider UK.

The Gala Dinner will once again be hosted by Stephen Jardine , regarded as one of Scottish Media’s best known presenters who has hosted the previous nine dinners, including the first ever dinner in 2007.
