Despite record nominations in ALL categories for this years Hr NETWORK National Awards 2017, Hr NETWORK’s Awards Planning Team has announced an extension of Wednesday 14th June 2017 for ALL remaining awards nominations. Hr NETWORK has taken this step to provide sufficient time for those that have already nominated in the awards the opportunity to submit the additional nominations they registered as part of the Nominations Intention Scheme and which has been running since the nominations opened on 1st March 2017.
Commenting on the extension to the deadline, founder and publisher of Hr NETWORK magazine Lee Turner said: “We must be crazy to extend this year’s nominations deadline given the sheer volume of nomination’s received which dramatically increases our workload over the next few weeks however the extension to the deadline has become an annual event in the Hr NETWORK calendar and its really important for us and our sponsors, to ensure that the judging panel has as many nominations as possible to consider as part of the process.”
Lee added: “Where we have extended the deadline for nominations in previous years to the end of June, given the incredibly high numbers received this year, we MUST close this years nominations off much earlier not least because we now have lots of work to do processing the many nominations, but we also need to show some courtesy to those that did manage to submit their nominations before the 31st May 2017 as initially required. However we have realised that there is still a large proportion of people still keen to submit nominations who haven’t managed to meet the deadline and we want to give them this extra short window of opportunity to do so”
The Hr NETWORK National Awards 2017 nominations will now close on Wednesday 14th June and this is your final chance to RECOGNISE, ACKNOWLEDGE and REWARD your champions from the Scottish HR profession in 2017. Established in 2007 by Founder and Publisher of Hr NETWORK Magazine Lee Turner, the Hr NETWORK National Awards are regarded by many as the most prestigious people awards in the UK attracting a sell-out audience of 800 top HR and ‘people’ industry professionals.
With seventeen categories, which will determine the top performing HR people, teams, projects and organisations for their efforts in the Scottish people development and management arena, nominations are being sought from across all sectors in Scotland. Following the initial online nominations, which includes an interview process for all shortlisted finalists, the winners of the Hr NETWORK Awards 2017 will be announced at the annual glittering Gala Dinner being held once again at the hugely impressive Glasgow Hilton on Thursday 9th November 2017.

Table sales for this year’s awards are in extremely high demand as anticipated and organisations wishing to host a table of 10, are strongly advised to secure their table as soon as possible.
The awards categories are judged in two sections, People categories and Projects categories.
People
These categories focus on individuals (except for the HR Team category). Judges are looking for exceptional individuals who MUST demonstrate that they are at the top in their respective role.
Projects
These categories focus on projects/specific initiatives that have had a measurable impact in the organisation.
